8:46 am Society says: wake up tired. “It’s ok, everyone else is tired too.” F—— that. Song plays. I dance. — From Nic Huzz's Vibe & Rise challenge. The premise is: dance to one song first thing in the morning. Let loose. Release endorphins.
8:50 am You’re born, you have a set of sensory experiences, and then you die. I meditate on the rooftop terrace. “The Way” by Henry Shukman. 10 minutes. — Meditation is like exercise. You barely notice the day-to-day efforts, then you look in the mirror one day and you have abs. After 12 weeks of daily Zen, somebody told me: you have a peaceful aura around you — a first.

— Practice until you get it right, and you'll need perfect conditions. Practice until you can't get it wrong, and conditions no longer matter. The best dancers purposely train when they're tired. When they hit 7 pirouettes late into the performance, they know the likelihood they'll be fresh is nil.

5:12pm Unhappy customers; lost sales. Why? Warehouse is full ! Three choices 1. Build a new warehouse 2. Increase size of existing warehouse 3. Reroute orders to a non-full warehouse Time frame? 6 months. Cut option 1. No time. Oh— also minimize costs. If we shut down a non-full warehouse? Means we'd have to reroute orders. Longer routes equal higher transportation costs. Brrrrrr run the math. Results. Give a recommendation. — Consulting (n.): Tell them what you're going to tell them, tell them, then tell them what you've told them.
I help a friend prepare for a McKinsey/BCG interview. My first time doing this kind of thing. Friend says I'm a natural. — Update: She got the offer! I take 1% credit.

Unpopular opinion: I don't like to cook. In 87/100 visions of my future, I either have a maid, chef, or I’m eating out. Will my future partner like to cook...? If not— no dishes, no cleaning, no rotten garbage in the fridge. Mmmm.
