I really like your idea of Humans of the World. I've wanted to do something like this for a while. I've met so many amazing people on my travels and wondered what the best way was to share their stories. The media only shows a very negative side of other countries and their people. Sharing other people's stories/lives could break a lot of the stereotypes that have been built.
Hooray for play and intelligent risk. The fun you're having is contagious. Thanks for sharing it all Leo. In terms of cities, I've traveled to every part of the US and a bit internationally. My favorite places to live are Vancouver, BC and high desert Arizona. I've moved back and forth between the two places 5 times in the last 20 years, because after a while in the beauty of the desert I miss the lush green, and then after a while in the semi-temperate rainforest, I miss the dry heat and magical monsoons. I'm not much for busy cities, but Vancouver is one of the most liveable, beautiful, and friendly cities I know.
Japan sounds both perfect for me “introverted nature” and, like my nightmare, “dressing in suits.”
I've only been there for a short layover once. I may have to put it on the list!
Also, regarding children, you're correct. It is the greatest thing in the world. But you are young, my man, so I wouldn’t rush it. What you are doing traveling the world is something I wish I would have done at your age. Enjoy it. And when the time is right for children, it will happen.

Coming back for the full read, but intrigued by the Ready for Children segment.

What a read Leo...living vicariously through your lemonade brother...
"I spent the first afternoon opening and closing a door 100 times on-repeat just because I loved the sound of the “click”"
lol this made me smile
Leo you look like you’re glowing in your photos, it’s clear Japan suits you and I’m happy to hear you are enjoying your time there!
