The questions you’re asking and the culture you’re creating all point to the creation a tribe that is your home. Your self-awareness will take you far, Leo!
Your writing reminds me of what I noticed when I spent six years living in China. Every time I came back to the UK, there was a difference in how I felt being in each place. The energy around was so different. What I noticed in the cities in China were people fizzing with ideas, striving, creating opportunities and exploiting them. Coming back to the UK felt like a balloon that slowly deflates. Neither is "right", but I see the fizz you bring in your ideas and your work. Keep on fizzing!
"Are you solving a real problem or one you just made up?" -- this is critical. Well done in highlighting it, Leo. And I don't have to go further, as it's self-explanatory. Especially in today's world.
I loved your psychology essay. "If you really want to learn psychology, start by observing other people. Start by observing yourself." -- this is so important, yet often so superficially tackled or just dismissed altogether. Paying (real) attention is key, starting by listening carefully to the answer to an apparently innocuous or useless question like "How are you?". We live in a distracted world, where it's harder and harder to focus and listen and empathize. Awesome piece man, bravo!
“There’s no such thing as business, only psychology.” I like that a lot. I relate to EQ as the somatic, nonverbal flow of all the intriguing relational awareness questions you posed, but it was a lot of fun to absorb your list of useful relational inquiries. I love the culture you’re devoted to creating. I’m excited to have a front row seat through your writing to watch it grow.

Thanks Leo x 2!
